With over two decades of experience in the tennis world. Having cultivated a vibrant and inclusive tennis community, designing programs that serve both junior and adult players. Her commitment to excellence is reflected not only in her leadership but in her mentorship—having guided nine former junior players through the process of becoming certified RSPA Teaching Professionals. Kara’s dedication to high instructional standards is evidenced by her continued RSPA Elite Professional and PTR Professional certifications, ensuring her programs evolve with the needs of her diverse players. Her achievements have been widely recognized through numerous accolades, including proclamations from the Village of Palmetto Bay, multiple USTA Florida honors, and a place among the Tennis Channel’s “Top 50 Coaches in America.” Most recently, she was awarded the prestigious “Key to the City” and the 2024 Stars Award by RSPA Florida. Beyond her professional work, Kara is a passionate volunteer, giving back through long-standing service with Special Olympics Florida, USTA Florida, and community events like the Oleta State Park beach cleanup. Hailing from Miami, Florida, Zephyr Brokaw has been dedicated to the sport of tennis since 2020. As a registered professional coach with the RSPA, Zephyr brings a thoughtful, player-focused approach to developing athletes of all ages and skill levels. Zephyr is pursuing a degree in Computer Arts and Animation at Miami Dade College, combining a passion for visual creativity with the discipline of sport. In addition to tennis, Zephyr also has a growing interest in Padel and appreciates the unique challenges and excitement it brings.

She has been with the facility for over a year as a junior coach and front desk receptionist. With her experience at the facility, Ashley has been able to develop strong connections with players and community members. Ashley is pursuing a degree in Public Health and Biological Sciences at Florida State University and continues to bring dedication and care for everything she does, both on and off the court.
