It’s almost August, and that means summer camps are officially over at FWB Tennis Center, managed by the USTA Florida Tennis Management Division.
The jam-packed 2019 Summer Camp schedule at the Fort Walton Beach Tennis Center gave kids a summer to remember — full of fun activities and tennis fundamentals.
The camps started June 3rd, and ran for 10 weeks.
- First year of Summer Camp
- 80 children participated
- Around 25 participants per week
- 196 total registrations (several campers took part for multiple weeks)
US Open Net Generation On-Court Experience:
8 children from USTA FL facilities will be headed to New York on August 31st, to be part of the US Open Net Generation On-Court Experience. Any kids age 8-12 participating in a summer camp at a USTA Florida facility have the chance to be selected for the exclusive experience.
Just because summer camps are over, doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. FWBTC is now gearing up for fall classes and back to school activities.
