June is here, and the City of Fort Walton Beach Tennis Center is ready for one of the busiest stretches of the year. With Summer Camp kicking off, evening junior classes expanding, and a Junior L5 Tournament on the calendar, there’s something happening on our courts almost every day this month. Here’s what to look forward to.
Junior & Adult Tennis Highlights
Summer Camp returns June 1 through July 31, 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome our junior players back on court. Camp will be offered as a half day from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or a full day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, giving families flexible options to fit their summer schedules.
We’re also expanding our evening junior offerings to keep players on court after the heat of the day. Orange and yellow ball will run Mondays and Wednesdays (Orange 5:00–6:00 PM, Yellow 6:00–7:00 PM), red ball will run Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, and green ball will run Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
Mark your calendars for our Junior L5 Tournament June 6–8, 2026, a great opportunity for our competitive juniors to log valuable match play right here at home.
On the adult side, programming stays consistent through the summer, with one schedule update: there will be no Monday adult clinic starting June 1, 2026. The rest of the adult schedule remains the same.
Facility Update
A big thank you to Interior Forests for the beautiful new landscaping around the facility — the courts are looking better than ever, and we appreciate their work in helping our home shine. We’re also thrilled to welcome our three new summer camp hires to the team. [PLACEHOLDER: insert names of the 3 summer camp hires]. Each of them brings great energy and a passion for working with juniors, and we can’t wait for the impact they’ll have on our camp this summer.

Remember to enjoy the game. Tennis isn’t just about winning points. Whether you play recreationally or aspire to compete in college or professionally, it’s about learning, staying active, and having fun on the court. Connect with others, encourage your hitting partners, and enjoy the friendships and memories that tennis creates along the way.
