It has been a busy and exciting fall season at the City of Fort Walton Beach Tennis Center, filled with energetic junior programs, engaging adult clinics, and fun community events. Let’s take a look back at what happened in October, preview what is coming in November, and share this month’s coaching tip!
October Recap
October was packed with activity on the courts. The City of Fort Walton Beach Tennis Center hosted an L6 Junior Tennis Tournament on October 25, bringing together talented young players for a day of spirited competition and sportsmanship.
Junior programming continued strong with Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow Ball clinics running Monday through Thursday.
The month wrapped up with a special Halloween Fun Clinic on October 29, where juniors dressed in costumes, trick-or-treated, and competed in tennis games. It was a memorable evening of laughter and community spirit.

Adult players also enjoyed a full calendar of clinics throughout October. Sessions included Monday and Tuesday evening clinics, a Wednesday Ladies Night, Thursday’s “Love to Learn” beginner course, and Saturday morning clinics for both intermediate and beginner players. Attendance and enthusiasm were strong across the board.
November Happenings
The excitement continues into November with a special free event, the Veterans Day Rally and Play, scheduled for November 8. Both juniors and adults are invited to participate in this community celebration of tennis and gratitude.

Junior players can also look forward to a three-day Thanksgiving Week Tennis Camp, taking place Monday through Wednesday from 9 AM to 12 PM. Regular junior clinics will continue throughout the month, except for the camp week. Adult clinic programming remains unchanged, offering plenty of options for all levels.
